Roads

Roads are items that can be built and placed upon the terrain which enable the faster movement of Townsfolk when they walk over them.

Movement Speed

Different types of roads have different values for "walk speed", or how fast Townsfolk can pass over them. The lower the number, the faster it is for the Townsfolk to move over it.
A Townie starts with 60 "walking points". A Stone Road has a walk speed value of 75, this means that the road requires 75 "walking points" for the citizen to move that turn. However, because the citizen only earns 60 points each turn it will require the citizen 2 turns to start walking, because then the citizen will have 120 points, remove 75 from that and the citizen will have 45 points. The next step the Townie makes will only take 1 turn to complete as the citizen starts out with 45 "walking points". This means that sometimes a step will take 2 turns or sometimes 1 turn. Gel Roads however have a walk speed value of 55, meaning the Townie will be able to move 1 tile per turn.

Wooden Roads

Wooden Road

Wooden roads are a basic road introduced in v11.

Stone Roads

Stone Road

Stone roads are the most basic and slowest of roads and provide a walk speed of 75. Stone Roads require 1 stone to craft, and increase the speed of Townsfolk by 40%.

Pavements

Pavements are the second fastest tier of road, providing a walk speed of 65.

Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone to craft on a Mason's bench

White Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone to craft on a Mason's bench

Blue Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone and 1 Blue Color to craft on a Mason's bench

Red Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone and 1 Red Color to craft on a Mason's bench

Green Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone and 1 Green Color to craft on a Mason's bench

Yellow Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone and 1 Yellow Color to craft on a Mason's bench

Orange Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone and 1 Orange Color to craft on a Mason's bench

Purple Pavement Road

Pavement Roads require 2 stone and 1 Purple Color to craft on a Mason's bench

Gel Roads

Gel Roads are the fastest roads available, providing a walk speed of 55.

Green Gel Road

Green Gel Roads require 1 stone and 1 Green gel OR a Yellow Flower to craft on a Mason's bench

Red Gel Road

Red Gel Roads require 1 stone and 1 Red gel OR a Red Flower to craft on a Mason's bench

Blue Gel Road

Blue Gel Roads require 1 stone and 1 Blue gel OR a Blue Flower to craft on a Mason's bench
